Couple Dance in Frankfurt Bergen-Enkheim

Dancing is not only fun, but also healthy for the body and mind. Dancing combines movement, touch and music and trains the brain like no other leisure activity. The various steps and turns require maximum concentration and coordination. The body also releases the happiness hormones dopamine and endorphins when you dance. Dancing is therefore good for your health. It combines three aspects to increase well-being, namely exercise, music and the social component. Hobby dancing, i.e. without the competitive aspect, has been proven to lower the stress hormone cortisol and also has a mood-enhancing effect. All of this contributes to the fact that many of us have been dancing together in a group for years. The couples in the group don't just come from Bergen-Enkheim or Frankfurt, but are spread across the Rhine-Main region.
Which dances do we practise?
Our dance trainer, Claudia Baumann, always motivates us to try new dances such as Tango Argentino, Night Club Two Step, Bachata, Salsa and Rueda with a lot of fun and commitment.
The training offers a balance between learning new step sequences and honing their execution, tailored to the group.
To get an impression, what we practise, have a look at the following video, where we practise several Discofox elements:
And in this video, we do a combination of Slowfox and Nightclub-2-Step:
How do we train?
We train in two groups, one directly after the other, with the groups even sharing half an hour of training time together. We train in Enkheim, right next to the U4 and U7 subway stations.
The first group is very suitable for those returning to dance, the second group for dancers with a more advanced level. In both groups we would be happy to welcome more couples who are enthusiastic about dancing. Unfortunately, we cannot accept beginners only. You should already have some basic knowledge. We dance in casual clothes, a visit or a trial dance is possible at any time during our dance training. We dance in pairs, so please bring a partner.
What do we train for?
The aim of our dance training is to be able to take to the dance floor wherever the opportunity arises. Be it family or company parties, other celebrations or dance balls.
